With the push to pass the SAVE act, legislation that will detrimentally impact voter registration, Republicans are working overtime to ensure that the constitutionally-given right to vote will be harder than ever, for millions of Americans, in the U.S. and abroad. How can we protect our vote in 2026 and beyond?
Jared Solomon is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, serving the 202nd Legislative District in Northwest Philadelphia. A Philadelphia native, Solomon is an attorney and former public-interest lawyer whose work has focused on civil rights, housing, and government accountability. Since his election in 2018, he has prioritized public education, gun violence prevention, workforce development, and strong constituent services, emphasizing practical solutions rooted in community engagement and transparency.
